Kendal Williams (born September 23, 1995) is an American professional track and field athlete. He is known for his incredible speed in sprint races. Kendal has won many medals for the United States in major international competitions.

One of his biggest achievements was at the 2014 World Junior Championships in Athletics. There, he won two gold medals. He took gold in both the 100 meters race and the 4 × 100 m relay. He even beat a favorite, Trayvon Bromell, in the 100 m race.

Kendal's Early Life and College Years

Kendal Williams grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Stanton College Preparatory School. During his high school years, he was a top athlete. He won several state titles and was recognized as a high school All-American.

After high school, Kendal received a scholarship to Florida State University in 2014. He competed for the Seminoles track team in 2015. As a freshman, he finished second in the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships 100 m race.

Later, he decided to transfer to the University of Georgia. He joined the Bulldogs track team. This move allowed him to continue working with his coach, Ken Harnden.

Professional Career and Major Wins

In his final year at the University of Georgia, Kendal ran the 100 m in 9.99 seconds. This was his personal best time at that point. He finished third in the 100 m at the USA Championships. This was his last race representing the Georgia Bulldogs.

After college, Kendal became a professional athlete in 2018. He continued to represent the United States. He competed at the first-ever 2018 Athletics World Cup. There, he won a silver medal in the 100 m race. He also helped his team win a gold medal in the 4 × 100 m relay.

Kendal has won many other medals throughout his career:

  • 2015 Pan American Games: Gold in the 4 × 100 m relay.
  • 2016 NACAC U23 Championships: Gold in both the 100 m and 4 × 100 m relay.
  • 2018 NACAC Championships: Silver in the 100 m.
