Kenneth Welsh (March 30, 1942 – May 5, 2022) was a talented actor from Canada. He starred in many movies and TV shows. People often remember him for playing the villain Windom Earle in the TV series Twin Peaks. He also had important roles in films like The Day After Tomorrow and The Aviator. In The Aviator, he played the father of famous actress Katharine Hepburn.

Early Life and Acting Start
Kenneth Welsh was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. His father worked for the Canadian National Railway. Kenneth grew up in Alberta and loved studying drama in school.
He later moved to Montreal to attend the National Theatre School. After finishing school, he joined the Stratford Festival in Ontario. He spent his first seven years as an actor performing on stage.
Kenneth Welsh's Acting Career
Kenneth Welsh played many different characters during his career. He was known for playing real-life historical figures. These included Harry S. Truman, who was a U.S. President, and Thomas Edison, a famous inventor. He also appeared as a guest on popular TV shows like Due South.
