Kenneth McKerrow Logan (born 3 April 1972) is a Scottish former rugby union player. He played as a wing. Kenny Logan played for teams like Stirling County RFC, Glasgow Warriors, and Wasps RFC. He also played for the Scottish national team.

During his career, he won three English Premiership titles and a Heineken Cup with Wasps RFC. He also won one Scottish Premiership title with Stirling County RFC in 1995. This was just before rugby became a professional sport.

Early Life and Beginnings

Kenny Logan was born in Stirling, Scotland, on 3 April 1972. When he was a schoolboy, he tried out for football teams. He played as a goalkeeper for clubs like Dundee United and Hearts.

He left school at 16 years old. After that, he started his rugby career. He joined his hometown club, Stirling County. He made his first senior appearance at the age of 17.

Club Rugby Career

Logan first played for an amateur team called Glasgow District. In 1996, rugby became a professional sport. His team then became known as Glasgow Warriors. He played for this new professional team in the 1996–97 Scottish Inter-District Championship. He also played in the European Challenge Cup that season.

Kenny Logan was the full-back for the Warriors' first professional match. This game was against Newbridge in the European Challenge Cup. Because of this, he is known as Glasgow Warrior No. 15.

In 1997, Logan moved to England to join Wasps. He played for Wasps for seven seasons. While there, he helped them win the Anglo-Welsh Cup twice. They won in 1999 and again in 2000. He also helped Wasps win the 2002–03 Premiership Final.

In 2004, he returned to play for Glasgow. After one season, he joined London Scottish. He stopped playing rugby professionally in 2005.

Playing for Scotland

Kenny Logan also played for the Scotland A team. He made his first appearance for the Scottish national team in 1992. He was only 20 years old when he played against Australia.

He was in and out of the team for a while. But he became a regular player in the 1994 Five Nations Championship. He also played in the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Over 11 years, he played 70 games for Scotland. He scored 20 tries during these games. He retired from international rugby after the 2003 World Cup.

Life Outside Rugby

When Kenny Logan was a child, he was diagnosed with dyslexia. He found that playing sports helped him a lot. He went to Wallace High School. However, he left school before taking his final exams.

In July 2001, Kenny Logan married television presenter Gabby Yorath. In 2005, they welcomed twins, a son named Reuben and a daughter.

Kenny and Gabby Logan both took part in the fifth series of the BBC dancing show Strictly Come Dancing. Kenny finished in 5th place with his dance partner Ola. Gabby finished in 12th place with her partner James Jordan.

The Logans have also been presidents of a children's charity called Sparks. In 2009, Kenny Logan and Sparks started an event called Logan's Challenge. This event helps raise money for the charity.

Kenny Logan supports Rangers F.C., a football club. In 2022, he had a health check. This led to a successful operation to address a health concern.
