Kensaku Omori (大森 健作, Ōmori Kensaku), born on November 21, 1975, is a former professional football player from Japan. He played as a defender during his career.

Kensaku Omori's Club Career
Kensaku Omori was born in Seiyo, Ehime, Japan. After finishing high school, he started his professional football journey in 1994.
Early Years in Japanese Football
Omori joined Yokohama Marinos in 1994. He played for this club until 1996. After that, he moved to Kashima Antlers in 1997. He also played for Kyoto Purple Sanga from 1998 to 1999. During these years, he didn't get to play in many matches.
Becoming a Regular Player
In 2000, Omori moved to Consadole Sapporo. Here, he found his place on the team. Even though he usually played as a left-sided defender, he became a key player. He played as a left stopper in a defense system that used three defenders.
Later Career and Retirement
In August 2004, Omori joined Cerezo Osaka. The next year, in 2005, he moved to Tokushima Vortis. This team had just been promoted to the J2 League, which is Japan's second-highest football league. In 2007, he played less often. Kensaku Omori decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2007 season.
Playing for Japan's Youth Team
In April 1995, Kensaku Omori was chosen to play for the Japan U-20 national team. This team represented Japan in the 1995 FIFA World Youth Championship. This was a big international tournament for young football players. Omori played in three matches during the championship. He played as a left-sided midfielder for the team.
