Kevin Brady Dillon (born August 19, 1965) is an American actor. He is well known for playing Johnny "Drama" Chase in the HBO comedy show Entourage. He also played Bunny in the war movie Platoon. Another famous role was John Densmore in the music movie The Doors.
Kevin Dillon was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards. He also received a Golden Globe Award nomination for his acting in Entourage.

Early life
Kevin Dillon was born in New Rochelle, New York. He grew up in Mamaroneck, New York. His mother, Mary Ellen, was a homemaker. His father, Paul Dillon, was a portrait painter and golf coach.
Kevin has a sister and four brothers. One of his brothers is the famous actor Matt Dillon. His family has Irish American roots. He finished high school at Mamaroneck High School.
Career
Dillon started acting in TV shows and movies in the 1980s. In 1983, he was in the TV movie No Big Deal. His first big movie role was Ed Rooney in Heaven Help Us.
He became widely known for playing Bunny in the 1986 war movie Platoon. In 1988, he starred as Brian Flagg in The Blob. This movie was liked for its special effects. Other important movies from this time include War Party (1988) and The Doors (1991). In The Doors, he played the drummer John Densmore.
TV shows and later movies
In the 2000s, Dillon worked a lot in television. He was in the CBS show That's Life. He also appeared in the Fox series 24.
In 2006, he was in the movie Poseidon. This film was a remake of an older movie called The Poseidon Adventure. He also appeared in the family comedy movie Hotel for Dogs (2009). This movie earned over $117 million around the world.
Entourage success
Dillon was a main actor in the HBO comedy-drama show Entourage. He played the character Johnny "Drama" Chase. For this role, he received Emmy nominations in 2007, 2008, and 2009. He also got a Golden Globe nomination in 2008.
The show Entourage ended in 2011 after eight seasons. Kevin Dillon played Johnny Chase again in the Entourage movie in 2015. The movie started filming in 2014. It made $49 million worldwide.
Recent work
In 2011, Dillon was in the CBS comedy show How to Be a Gentleman. He played Bert Lansing, an Iraq war veteran. In 2018, he appeared in the movie Dirt. He also played Jimmy O'Shea in two episodes of the police show Blue Bloods.
Personal life
Kevin Dillon married actress Jane Stuart on April 21, 2006, in Las Vegas. His Entourage co-star Jerry Ferrara was his best man. Another co-star, Kevin Connolly, walked Jane Stuart down the aisle.
Their first child, Ava, was born on May 17, 2006. She was born in Beverly Hills. Kevin also has another daughter named Amy, born in 1991, from an earlier relationship. Jane Stuart filed for divorce in 2016. Their divorce was finalized in November 2019.
