Kevin Richardson facts for kids
Kevin Scott Richardson (born October 3, 1971) is an American singer. He is best known as a member of the famous music group, the Backstreet Boys.
Kevin has also performed on stage. In 2002, he played the role of "Billy Flynn" in the Broadway show Chicago. He also performed this role in London's West End and in Toronto during late 2006.
Kevin's Journey with the Backstreet Boys
Kevin Richardson was a key member of the Backstreet Boys, a very popular boy band. In June 2006, he decided to leave the group. He wanted to explore new things in his life. During this time, Kevin spent time with his family. He and his wife, Kristin (whose maiden name was Willits), welcomed their son, Mason, on July 3, 2007.
After some years, Kevin decided to return to the group. In April 2012, he officially rejoined the Backstreet Boys. This made many fans happy, and the group continued to make music and perform together.
