Kewala's Typing Adventure is an exciting educational video game from 1996. It was made in Australia and helps players learn how to type. The game was created by a company called Typequick, based in Sydney. A year after it came out, the game was renamed Typequick for Students. Later, by 2002, it was also known as Success With Typing.

Journey with Kewala: Game Story and How to Play

This game takes you on a fun adventure that lasts about 10 to 15 hours. You join a friendly koala named Kewala, who is truly Australian! Kewala travels across Australia, riding on an emu. Then, he surfs the ocean with whales. His goal is to reach the amazing Kingdom of Eaz.

The game starts by teaching you the basics. You'll learn exactly where to place your fingers on the keyboard. At first, you might type simple, made-up words like "assa" or "saas." But don't worry, you'll quickly move on to typing full sentences!

The game originally came on a CD-ROM. It also included a special book for teachers. This book had all the details for each typing lesson. The game puts a lot of focus on good posture and correct finger positions. This helps you learn to type well and comfortably.
