Key West is a small, growing community in Dubuque County, Iowa, United States. It's located very close to the southern edge of the city of Dubuque. Some parts of Key West are now within Dubuque city limits, while others are still independent.
Key West is becoming a popular spot for businesses. This is because major roads like U.S. 151, U.S. 61, and U.S. 52 pass through or near it. The Dubuque Regional Airport is also close by. Many new high-tech companies are setting up in the Dubuque Technology Park, which is to the east. The area is expected to grow even more with the planned building of the city's Southwest Arterial road.
