Khadijah Farrakhan was born Betsy Ross on November 26, 1935. She is well-known as the wife of Louis Farrakhan, who is the leader of the Nation of Islam. Many people call her the "First Lady of the Nation of Islam."

Khadijah Farrakhan became a Muslim in 1955. This was two years after she married Louis Farrakhan. At that time, his name was Louis Eugene Walcott.
Family Life
Khadijah and Louis Farrakhan have nine children together. Their oldest son, Louis Farrakhan Jr., passed away on June 2, 2018.
Public Speaking
Khadijah Farrakhan has also been a public speaker. She gave a speech at the Million Woman March in 1997. This was a large event where many women gathered to support their communities.
