Khama Billiat (born August 19, 1990) is a talented professional footballer from Zimbabwe. He is known for playing as a winger, which means he plays on the sides of the field, helping to attack and score goals. Khama has played for several big clubs in South Africa and also represents his home country, Zimbabwe, in international matches.

Khama's Football Journey
Khama Billiat started his exciting football journey in Zimbabwe. He quickly became known for his speed and amazing ball control.
Early Days at CAPS United
In 2010, Khama began his professional career with a team called CAPS United in Zimbabwe. He only played for a short time before moving to South Africa. His time with the Harare team lasted about three months.
Shining at Ajax Cape Town
Khama made his first professional appearance for Ajax Cape Town on August 20, 2010. This was in a cup match against Mamelodi Sundowns. He joined Ajax Cape Town from CAPS United.
In 2012, Khama played in a friendly match against the famous English club Manchester United. After the game, Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand praised Khama. Ferdinand said Khama was an "agile and exciting player" with "great speed and ball control." Khama's strong performances at Ajax Cape Town helped him get a move to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Success with Mamelodi Sundowns
After a short trial with a Russian club, Khama Billiat joined Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa on August 19, 2013. He signed a five-year contract with the club. He scored his first goal for Sundowns almost a month later.
In 2016, Khama played a big part in helping Mamelodi Sundowns win their first-ever CAF Champions League title. This made them only the second South African team to become champions of Africa. He scored two goals against Bidvest Wits in November 2017.
Moving to Kaizer Chiefs
In June 2018, it was announced that Khama Billiat was moving from Mamelodi Sundowns to Kaizer Chiefs. He signed a three-year deal with the club. He played his first game for Kaizer Chiefs on August 4, 2018, in a league match against his old team, Mamelodi Sundowns.
Back to Yadah Stars
In 2024, Khama signed with Yadah Stars on a free transfer. This means he joined the club without a transfer fee being paid.
Playing for Zimbabwe
Khama Billiat has played for Zimbabwe at different youth levels. He has also made many appearances for the senior national team, known as the "Warriors." He became a regular player in the attacking midfield position.
International Debut and Goals
His first senior international game was on March 26, 2011, in a match against Mali. Later that year, in August, Khama scored his first goal for Zimbabwe in a friendly match against Zambia.
Africa Cup of Nations
Khama also played for the Zimbabwean national team in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. These are big tournaments for African football teams.
Retirement and Return
In November 2021, Khama Billiat was named captain of Zimbabwe for a match against South Africa. He later announced his retirement from international football after a match in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. However, on August 28, 2024, Khama Billiat announced that he was coming out of retirement and was ready to play for the Zimbabwe national team again.
