Kieran recorded his first album in 1989. It was called Brand New Star. This album included two songs. These were "Brand New Star" and "Just Around The Corner." Another singer, Mary Black, heard these songs. She liked them and recorded both for her album Babes in the Wood.
Popular Albums and Songs
After Brand New Star, Kieran released New Day in 1994. In 1998, he released Worse Than Pride. This album had a very popular song called "Out Of My Head." It was one of the top 10 songs on Irish radio that year. Worse Than Pride sold so well that it reached double platinum status. This means it sold over 140,000 copies in Ireland.
In 2000, Kieran released Red-Letter Day. This album featured a fan favorite song, "Reasons To Leave."
Later Works and Collaborations
Kieran released a collection of his best songs in 2002. It was called Out of my Head... The Best Of Kieran Goss. In 2005, he recorded his sixth studio album. It was named Blue Sky Sunrise. This album was made in Tennessee, USA. Rodney Crowell, a famous musician, helped produce it.
