Kristina Kockar (Serbian Cyrillic: Кристина Коцкар), born on May 26, 1989, is a well-known Serbian television host and singer. She is more commonly known by her stage name, Kija Kockar. She became very famous after winning the first season of the Serbian reality TV show Zadruga in 2018.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Growing Up in Serbia

Kristina Kockar was born in Zrenjanin, which was part of SFR Yugoslavia at the time. Her mother, Nadica Zeljković, worked as a restaurant server.

Education and Early Jobs

After finishing her studies at the Zrenjanin Grammar School, Kija went to Hotelier College in Belgrade. Before she became a celebrity, she worked as a flight attendant. She flew for airlines like Airpink, Air Serbia, and Etihad Airways.

Rise to Fame

Becoming a Reality TV Star

In November 2017, Kija Kockar joined the reality TV series Zadruga. This show was broadcast on RTV Pink. She quickly gained a lot of support from the audience. On June 20, 2018, she won the show. She received more than 55% of the public votes.

Starting a Music Career

After her big win on Zadruga, Kija decided to try a career in music. Her first song, "Ne vraćam se na staro," was released on July 20, 2018. The music video for this song became very popular. It has been watched over thirty million times on YouTube.

Author and TV Judge

In October 2019, Kija published her own book. It was an autobiography called Moj potpis, which means My Signature. The book talked about her experiences, including her time on Zadruga. It was a big hit at the Belgrade Book Fair. Kija also worked as a judge on two talent shows. These were Pinkove Zvezde: All Talents and Pinkove Zvezdice: All Stars. She was a judge on these shows between 2018 and 2019.

Recent Work

Kija released her first collection of songs, called an EP, in June 2021. It was titled Da li si dovoljno lud da mi kažeš da?. In June 2023, Kockar started working as a presenter for Informer TV. Before that, she was with Hype TV.

Personal Life

On September 26, 2016, Kija Kockar married singer Slobodan Radanović. He was also a contestant on Pinkove Zvezde. They later divorced on August 7, 2018.
