Kilglass Lough (which is called Loch Chill Ghlais in Irish) is a beautiful freshwater lake in the west of Ireland. It is located in the northern part of County Roscommon. This lake is a great place for nature and fishing.

Geography

Kilglass Lough is quite a large lake. It measures about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) long and about 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) wide. That's a good distance to explore!

The lake is located about 10 kilometers (6 miles) northeast of a town called Strokestown. Kilglass Lough is also part of a group of lakes known as the Strokestown Lakes. These lakes form a lovely watery area that is important for the local environment.
