Killduff is a small, unincorporated community located in southeastern Jasper County, Iowa, in the United States. It's found along local roads, southeast of the city of Newton. Newton is the main town and county seat for Jasper County. Being "unincorporated" means Killduff doesn't have its own official local government like a city or town. Instead, it's a collection of homes and businesses in a rural area.

Early Days and Growth
Killduff got its own post office on July 2, 1883. This was an important step for the community, making it easier for people to send and receive mail.
The community was once connected by the Iowa Central Railway. This railway helped people and goods travel to and from Killduff.
Population and Businesses
Over the years, Killduff's population changed. In 1902, about 69 people lived there. By 1925, the population had grown slightly to 85 people.
In 1912, Killduff was a busy little place. It had its post office, two stores where people could buy supplies, a lumber yard for building materials, and even a blacksmith shop. A blacksmith would make and repair things out of metal, like tools or horse shoes. By 1940, the population remained around 85 people.
