Kim Andersson (born 21 August 1982) is a famous Swedish handball player. He is known for playing as a right back. He currently plays for Ystads IF in Sweden.
Kim Andersson has achieved many great things in handball. He won a silver medal with the Swedish team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He was also named the Best right back in the All-Star Team at the 2008 European Men's Handball Championship.

Playing for Clubs
Kim Andersson has played for several top handball clubs. He started his senior career with Ystads IF in Sweden. He played there from 1998 to 2001.
Success in Sweden
From 2001 to 2005, Kim played for IK Sävehof. With this team, he became the Swedish champion twice. They won the championship in 2004 and again in 2005. Later, he returned to Ystads IF in 2015. He helped them win the Swedish championship again in 2022.
Playing in Germany
Kim Andersson moved to Germany in 2005 to play for THW Kiel. This is one of the biggest handball clubs in Europe. With THW Kiel, he won the German championship in 2006 and 2007. He also helped them win the EHF Champions League in 2007. This is a very important competition for European club teams. He stayed with THW Kiel until 2012.
Time in Denmark
After playing in Germany, Kim moved to Denmark. He played for KIF Kolding København from 2012 to 2015.
Playing for Sweden
Kim Andersson also had a long and successful career with the Swedish national team. He played for Sweden from 2001 to 2019. During this time, he played in 240 matches. He scored an amazing 824 goals for his country.
Olympic Medal
One of his biggest achievements was at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Kim was a key player for the Swedish team. They played very well and won the silver medal in handball. He also played in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
