Kim Cheong-gi (Hangul: 김청기) is a famous South Korean director. He is known for making animated movies, fantasy films, and science fiction movies. He was born on April 4, 1941.

His most famous movie is Robot Taekwon V. This animated film came out in 1976. Many people think it is a very important movie in Korean animation history. He also worked with actor Shim Hyung-rae. Together, they created the Ureme series. This series was very popular with children in the late 1980s.
