Early Football Career
Kim Dong-Hyun started his professional football journey in 2003. His first team was Oita Trinita in Japan. He played in the top Japanese league, called J. League 1.
Playing for South Korean Clubs
After playing in Japan, Kim Dong-Hyun returned to South Korea. From 2004 to 2005, he played for Suwon Samsung Bluewings. This team is part of the K-League, which is South Korea's main football league. He scored several goals for them during this time.
Later, from 2007 to 2008, he joined Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma. He continued to be an important player for this K-League team, scoring goals and helping his team. In 2009, he moved to Gyeongnam. From 2010 onwards, he played for Gwangju Sangmu.
