Success at Paris 2024 Olympics

At the Paris 2024 Olympics, Kim Mi-rae achieved even greater success. She won a silver medal in the women's synchronized 10-meter platform event. Her partner for this event was Jo Jin-mi. This was a very special moment because it was North Korea's first-ever Olympic medal in diving!

Kim Mi-rae also won a bronze medal in the individual women's 10-meter platform event. She scored 372.10 points in this competition. These medals show her hard work and skill in the sport of diving.

World Championships Medals

Kim Mi-rae has also performed well at the World Aquatics Championships. In 2017, she won a silver medal in the 10-meter synchronized platform event. She also earned a bronze medal in the mixed synchronized 10-meter platform event that same year.

More recently, at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Doha, she won another silver medal. This was again in the 10-meter synchronized platform event.
