Some of the cool places planned include an Aquarium, a big Conference Center, and a museum about how cities are built. You can also visit the Earth's Climate Center to learn about our planet, or explore the Science Museum. For relaxing, there's a Health Club. Kids will love the Interactive Children's Museum, where they can play and learn.

Getting Around KAFD

To make moving around easy, every building in KAFD will have special walkways connecting them. This means you can walk from one building to another without going outside! There will also be a special monorail train system that travels all through the district. This train will make it simple and fun to explore the whole area.

How Big is KAFD?

The King Abdullah Financial District is a really big place! It covers an area of 1.6 million square meters. That's like 225 football fields!

In total, KAFD will have 34 tall towers. The entire district will offer over 3 million square meters of space. This space is used for homes, offices, and even 62,000 parking spots for cars. About 12,000 people are expected to live in KAFD once it's finished.

Main Financial Hubs

The main offices for the Capital Market Authority (CMA) will be in KAFD. This is the group that makes rules for money markets in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Stock Exchange, called Tadawul, will also have its headquarters here. This is where companies buy and sell shares.

Other Important Organizations

KAFD will also have a special school called a financial academy. This is where people can learn all about money and banking. Many banks, companies, and other financial groups will also have their offices in this new district.

How KAFD Was Designed

Many talented people and companies are working together to design and build the King Abdullah Financial District.

Building the Monorail

A company called Bombardier Inc was chosen to build the monorail train system for KAFD. This big project cost about SR904 million, which is around $241 million (US dollars).

Architecture and Style

The overall look and design of KAFD are being created and watched over by a company called Henning Larsen Architects. Also, a famous architecture firm, Zaha Hadid Architects, is designing the KAFD's metro station.
