Kirby Bentley's Football Journey
Kirby Bentley started her AFLW career with the Fremantle team. She was one of the first players signed before the league began in 2017. Her first game was in Round 1 of the 2017 season. This was also Fremantle's very first match in the AFLW. They played against the Western Bulldogs at VU Whitten Oval.
Playing for The Allies
In 2017, Kirby also played in a special "State of Origin" match. She represented a team called The Allies. During this game, she unfortunately injured her knee and needed surgery. After the 2018 season, Fremantle decided to release her from their team.
Joining Carlton
