Christopher Jerry "Kit" Symons (born 8 March 1971) is a football coach and former player. He played as a defender. He was most recently an assistant manager for the Greek team Atromitos.
Kit Symons started his playing career with Portsmouth. He then played in the Premier League for Manchester City, Fulham, and Crystal Palace. He also played 36 times for the Wales national team, scoring two goals.
After he stopped playing, he mostly worked as a coach. He was briefly the manager of Fulham. He also had short periods as a "caretaker manager" (a temporary manager) for Crystal Palace and Colchester United. He has often worked as an assistant to his former teammate Chris Coleman. They worked together at Fulham, Wales, Sunderland, Hebei FC, and Atromitos.

Playing Career Highlights
Kit Symons was born in Basingstoke, England. He played over 100 league games for each of his first three clubs. These clubs were Portsmouth, Manchester City, and Fulham.
He played for Fulham until December 2001. Then, he joined Crystal Palace. He finished his playing career there after playing 60 games for the club.
Playing for Wales

In September 2014, Symons became Fulham's caretaker manager. This happened after the previous manager left. After a series of good results, he was made the full-time manager of Fulham in October 2014. Symons said that Fulham was "very close to my heart."
In July 2015, Symons left his role with the Wales national team. He wanted to focus completely on his job at Fulham. However, he was dismissed by Fulham on 8 November 2015.
Later Coaching Roles
Symons rejoined Wales as a coach in August 2016. He left this role in November 2017 when Chris Coleman resigned. Soon after, Symons became assistant manager at Sunderland when Coleman became their manager. They both left Sunderland after the team was relegated. In June 2018, Symons again joined Chris Coleman as his assistant manager at Hebei China Fortune in China.
