Hosting Panel Quiz Attack 25
Kodama was the host of the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation quiz show Panel Quiz Attack 25. He hosted this show for an amazing thirty-six years! It started in April 1975, and he hosted it continuously until March 2011. He had to stop because he became very ill. His most famous saying on the show was "Attack Chance!" This phrase became very well-known across Japan.
Beyond Acting and Hosting
Kiyoshi Kodama was also a big fan of reading. He even hosted a TV show where he reviewed books. He also wrote and published his own books, sharing his thoughts and stories with readers. Two TV presenters, Yasuyuki Urakawa and Akiko Kato, shared stories about Kiyoshi Kodama. They also talked about the 36-year history of Attack 25. Yasuyuki Urakawa took over as the host of Attack 25 after Kodama. He hosted the show until March 2015. After that, Shōsuke Tanihara became the new host.
