Kiyoshi Kodama (born January 1, 1934 – died May 16, 2011) was a famous Japanese TV personality and actor. His real name was Kiyoshi Kitagawa. He was best known for hosting a popular quiz show for many years.

Kodama was the host of the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation quiz show Panel Quiz Attack 25. He hosted this show for an amazing thirty-six years! It started in April 1975, and he hosted it continuously until March 2011. He had to stop because he became very ill. His most famous saying on the show was "Attack Chance!" This phrase became very well-known across Japan.

Beyond Acting and Hosting

Kiyoshi Kodama was also a big fan of reading. He even hosted a TV show where he reviewed books. He also wrote and published his own books, sharing his thoughts and stories with readers.
