Kojiro Kaimoto (海本 幸治郎, Kaimoto Kojiro, born October 14, 1977) is a former Japanese football player. He was born in Suita, Osaka. Kojiro played as a defender and midfielder. His older brother, Keiji Kaimoto, was also a professional football player.

Kojiro Kaimoto's Football Journey
Kojiro Kaimoto started his professional football career in Japan. He later played in South Korea and Australia.
Starting with Gamba Osaka
Kojiro joined his hometown club, Gamba Osaka, in 1996. He played as a midfielder during his first season. He played in many games early on. However, he faced injuries in 1999 and did not play that year.
Playing in South Korea
In 2001, Kojiro moved to South Korea. He joined the team Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma. This club was very successful during his time there. They won the championship two years in a row, in 2001 and 2002.
Returning to Japan
Kojiro came back to Japan in 2003. He joined Nagoya Grampus Eight. His brother, Keiji Kaimoto, also played for this club. Kojiro played often as a right-side midfielder for two seasons.
In 2005, he moved to Albirex Niigata with his brother Keiji. However, he did not play as many games there.
Time with Tokyo Verdy
In June 2006, Kojiro joined Tokyo Verdy, a club in the J2 League. He played a lot as a right-side back and right midfielder. His team was promoted to the top league, the J1 League, in 2008. But he did not play much in that year.
Playing in Australia and Retirement
Towards the end of his career, Kojiro played for two Australian clubs in 2009. These were Bonnyrigg White Eagles and North Queensland Fury. He decided to retire from football in October 2009.
