Kojiro Kaimoto (海本 幸治郎, Kaimoto Kojiro, born October 14, 1977) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender and midfielder. His older brother, Keiji, was also a professional football player.

Kojiro Kaimoto was born in Suita, Osaka, Japan, on October 14, 1977. He grew up with a passion for football.
Playing Career Highlights
Starting in Japan
Kojiro began his professional football journey in 1996. He joined his hometown club, Gamba Osaka, which is a well-known team in Japan. In his first season, he played as a midfielder. He played in many games early on. However, in 1999, he faced some challenges and did not play due to injuries.
Playing in South Korea
In 2001, Kojiro moved to South Korea to play for Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma. This was a very successful time for him and his team. The club won the championship two years in a row, in 2001 and 2002.
Return to Japan
Kojiro returned to Japan in 2003. He joined Nagoya Grampus Eight. Interestingly, his brother, Keiji, also played for this club. Kojiro played many games as a right-side midfielder for two seasons.
In 2005, he moved to Albirex Niigata, again joining his brother Keiji. However, he did not play as many games there.
Later Career in Japan and Australia
In June 2006, Kojiro joined Tokyo Verdy, a club in the J2 League (Japan's second division). He played often as a right-side defender and right midfielder. In 2008, his team, Tokyo Verdy, was promoted to the top division, the J1 League. However, he did not play much during that year.
Towards the end of his career, Kojiro played for two clubs in Australia. In 2009, he played for Bonnyrigg White Eagles and then North Queensland Fury. He decided to retire from professional football in October 2009.
