Komensky is a town located in Jackson County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In the year 2000, about 462 people lived here. Some smaller communities are also part of the town, including Hatfield, Waterbury, and Winnebago Mission.

History of Komensky
The town of Komensky was created in 1913. It was formed from a part of another town called Brockway.
The town got its name from a famous Czech educator and Christian leader. His name was Jan Amos Komenský. He lived a long time ago, from 1592 to 1670.
There was also once a "ghost town" called Clay located within Komensky. A ghost town is a place where everyone has left.

Komensky covers an area of about 59.5 square miles (154.1 square kilometers). Most of this area is land. About 0.5 square miles (1.4 square kilometers) is water. This means there are small lakes or rivers within the town.
