Kosei Nakamura (中村 幸聖, Nakamura Kōsei) is a former Japanese football player. He was born on April 5, 1981. Nakamura played as a forward during his career. Today, he works as an assistant coach for the Singapore national team, the Singapore U23 team, and Young Lions.

Playing Career Highlights
Kosei Nakamura was born in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. He started his football journey in high school. After finishing school, he joined Kashima Antlers in 2000. This club plays in the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league.
Early Years at Kashima Antlers
Nakamura made his first appearance on May 3, 2000. He came into the game as a substitute forward. However, he did not play many matches for Kashima Antlers until 2002. Even so, he was part of a very successful team.
Winning Trophies
While at Kashima Antlers, Nakamura's team won several important trophies:
- They won the J1 League twice, in 2000 and 2001.
- They also won the J.League Cup in 2000 and 2002.
- The team lifted the Emperor's Cup in 2000.
- They were also runners-up in the Emperor's Cup in 2002.
Moving to Montedio Yamagata
In 2003, Nakamura moved to Montedio Yamagata. This club played in the J2 League, which is the second division in Japan. Here, he got more chances to play. He played in many matches and scored 11 goals in 2003. However, he played fewer games in 2004.
Time at Albirex Niigata
Nakamura joined Albirex Niigata, a J1 League club, in 2005. He did not play any matches for them at first. In June 2005, he went on loan to Albirex Niigata Singapore. This team plays in Singapore's top league. He played well there, appearing in 15 matches and scoring 7 goals.
He returned to Albirex Niigata in 2006. Again, he did not play any matches for the team. Kosei Nakamura decided to retire from playing football at the end of the 2006 season.
Coaching Career
After retiring as a player, Kosei Nakamura began a new career in coaching. He has worked with youth teams and senior clubs.
Youth Coaching
From 2019 to 2021, Nakamura coached the U18 team for Kashima Antlers. This was the same club where he started his playing career.
Senior Team Coaching
In 2022, he became an assistant coach for the main Kashima Antlers team. He held this role until 2024. Later in 2024, he moved to Singapore. He became an assistant coach for the Singapore national team. He also assists with the Singapore U23 team and Young Lions.
