Kosuke Harada (原田 紘介, Harada Kosuke, born December 21, 1977) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was one of the main players who tried to score goals. Harada spent his career playing for different football clubs in Japan. He started in youth teams and then became a professional player.
Playing Career
Kosuke Harada began his football journey in his hometown of Hiroshima Prefecture. He was born there on December 21, 1977. When he was younger, he joined the youth team of Sanfrecce Hiroshima. This was an important step in his early career.
Joining Professional Teams
In 1996, Harada joined a club called Cosmo Oil Yokkaichi. This team was part of the Japan Football League (JFL). The JFL was one of the top football leagues in Japan at that time. Harada played in 23 matches for them.
However, Cosmo Oil Yokkaichi stopped playing at the end of the 1996 season. So, in 1997, Harada joined another JFL team, Seino Transportation. He played in 20 games there and scored one goal. Just like before, this club also stopped playing at the end of the 1997 season.
Moving to Montedio Yamagata
In 1998, Harada moved to Montedio Yamagata, which was also a JFL club. He played 14 matches for them and scored one goal. This club was promoted to the J2 League in 1999. The J2 League is a professional football league in Japan, a step up from the JFL.
Even though the club moved up to a higher league, Harada did not play in many matches during the 1999 season. He decided to retire from playing professional football at the end of 1999.
