Kota Hattori (服部 公太, Hattori Kota, born November 22, 1977) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder for many years, mostly for Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

Kota Hattori's Football Journey
Kota Hattori was born in Narashino, Japan, on November 22, 1977. After finishing high school, he joined a top Japanese football team, Sanfrecce Hiroshima, in 1996. He made his first professional appearance on November 19, 1996.
Becoming a Key Player
By 1998, Kota became a regular player for Sanfrecce Hiroshima. This means he played in most of the team's games. He was known for playing as a left side midfielder. He was incredibly consistent, playing in 171 matches in a row without missing a game! This amazing streak lasted from November 2002 to August 2007.
Team Success and Later Career
During his time with Sanfrecce Hiroshima, the team achieved some great things. They finished second in the Emperor's Cup twice, in 1999 and 2007. They also came in second in the 2010 J.League Cup.
Later in his career, Kota started playing less as new players joined the team, like Satoru Yamagishi. In 2012, he moved to another team called Fagiano Okayama. He played for one season there before deciding to retire from professional football at the end of 2012. Kota Hattori played a total of 464 games and scored 16 goals in his career.
