Kota Ueda (上田 康太, Ueda Kota, born May 9, 1986 in Ōme, Tokyo) is a former Japanese football player. He was a midfielder, which means he played in the middle of the field, helping both with defense and offense. Kota Ueda played for several teams during his career, including Júbilo Iwata, Omiya Ardija, Fagiano Okayama, Tochigi SC, and most recently, Criacao Shinjuku. He retired from professional football in 2024.
