Music Career and Achievements
Solo Music Journey
After becoming well-known with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Krayzie Bone released his first solo album, Thug Mentality 1999, in 1999. This was a big album with many songs, and it featured guest appearances from popular artists like Mariah Carey and Snoop Dogg. The album sold very well and was certified platinum, meaning it sold over one million copies.
In 2001, Krayzie Bone released another album called Thug On Da Line. This album was also very popular and sold enough copies to be certified gold.
"Ridin'" with Chamillionaire
In 2005, Krayzie Bone was featured on the hit song "Ridin'" by Chamillionaire. This song was a huge success! It won a Grammy Award for "Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group." It also reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the U.S. and was very popular in the UK.
"Ridin'" was named one of the best songs of 2006 by Rolling Stone magazine. It was also the best-selling ringtone in 2006, with over 3 million sales. This made it the first ringtone to be certified multi-platinum.
Recent Music Projects
In 2014, Krayzie Bone announced a new album series called Chasing the Devil. The first part of this series was released in 2015. He has continued to release solo albums, including Eternal Legend (2017) and Nothing Left to Prove (2019).
In 2022, Krayzie Bone worked with Fatlip from the group The Pharcyde on a song called "Dust in the Wind." This was a special collaboration because it was the first time a member of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony worked with a member of The Pharcyde.
Business Ventures
Beyond music, Krayzie Bone has also started several businesses. He helped create Mo Thugs Family, a group of rap and hip-hop artists from Cleveland. Later, he started his own record label called ThugLine Records, which was later renamed The Life Entertainment.
To help new artists, Krayzie Bone launched "Conquer The Industry." This is an online channel designed to help up-and-coming musicians learn how to succeed in the music business. He also has his own clothing and accessory line called "TL Apparel."
In 2018, Krayzie Bone signed a deal to distribute his digital media company, "Krayzie Bone Media," with The Digital Soapbox Network. His first show with them was called "Quick Fix"-The Afterhours.
Community Work
After a popular music battle called Verzuz between Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and Three Six Mafia, Krayzie Bone gained new attention. He used this opportunity to start the "Spread the Love" foundation. This foundation helps young people in the Cleveland community develop their talents in music and arts.
Personal Life
Anthony Henderson comes from a family of Jehovah's Witnesses. Because of his beliefs, he does not celebrate Christmas.
