Kristina "Tina" Cook is a famous British eventing rider. She was born on August 31, 1970. Tina is known for winning many medals in horse riding competitions.
She became the European Champion in 2009. Tina has also won three Olympic medals. She earned bronze medals in 2008 and a silver medal in 2012.

About Kristina Cook
Kristina Cook was born Kristina Gifford in Rustington, England. Her father, Josh Gifford, was a very successful jockey. He was the British jump racing Champion Jockey four times.
Tina is a very skilled rider. She competes in a sport called eventing. This sport combines three different types of horse riding. These are dressage, cross-country, and show jumping.
Her Olympic Journey
Tina Cook has had an amazing journey in the Olympics. She won two bronze medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She achieved these medals with her horse, Miners Frolic. They won in both the individual and team eventing competitions.
Tina almost did not make it to the 2008 Olympics. She joined the team after other riders had to withdraw. This shows how determined she is.
At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Tina won another medal. She and her team earned a silver medal in team eventing. This was another great achievement for her.
World and European Success
Tina has also achieved great success in other major championships. In 2009, she became the double European Eventing champion. She won both the individual and team competitions. This happened at the championships in Fontainebleau, France, with Miners Frolic.
