Kuding facts for kids
Kuding (pronounced koo-ding) is a special kind of bitter-tasting Chinese tea. Its name, kǔdīng chá, means "bitter nail tea" because of its strong flavor and how the leaves are often rolled into nail-like shapes. Even though it's called "tea," it comes from different plants than regular tea.
The two main plants used to make Kuding are a type of wax tree called Ligustrum robustum and a holly plant called Ilex kaushue.
