The Kokowara lived in Queensland, Australia. Their traditional lands covered about 1,800 square miles (4,662 square kilometers). This area was around the Normanby River. It stretched from Lakefield south to Laura and the Laura River. Their main camping spot was called Daidan. It was located on the Deighton River.
