Kunie Kitamoto (北本 久仁衛, Kitamoto Kunie, born September 18, 1981) is a Japanese football player. He was born on September 18, 1981. He is now an assistant manager for the football club Vissel Kobe.
Playing Career Highlights
Kunie Kitamoto started his football journey in Nara, Japan. After finishing high school, he joined the professional club Vissel Kobe in the year 2000. This club plays in the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league.
Becoming a Key Player
Kitamoto made his first appearance in a game in 2001. By 2002, he became a regular player for Vissel Kobe. He played as a center back, which is a defender who helps protect the team's goal. He was known for being a strong and reliable player.

Kitamoto spent a very long time, 19 years, playing for Vissel Kobe. During his time, the team sometimes played in the J1 League and sometimes in the J2 League. The J2 League is the second-highest league in Japan.
