Kym Ng Kwee Khim (born July 1, 1967) is a well-known TV host and actress from Singapore. She is famous for her lively personality. Many people know her as one of Mediacorp's top variety show stars.
Kym Ng has won many awards in Singapore and other parts of Asia. She has won the Best Variety Show Host award four times. She also won Best Supporting Actress twice and Best Actress once. In 1998, she was the first person to win the Best Variety Show Host award.
She has also won two Asian Television Awards and an Asia Rainbow TV Award. These awards show how talented she is in hosting and acting.

Early life and education
Kym Ng went to River Valley High School. After that, she studied at Tanjong Katong Secondary School. This was before she started her career in entertainment.
Career highlights
Before becoming a star, Kym Ng worked as a flight attendant for Singapore Airlines. She started her career in entertainment as a singer. She even released some music albums.
Later, in 1995, she joined Mediacorp's earlier company. She then started focusing on hosting and acting. She became very popular as a host on the show City Beat. She hosted it with other famous stars like Pan Lingling and Bryan Wong. Her great work on City Beat helped her win her first two Best Variety Show Host awards.
In 2001, Kym Ng moved to another company called SPH MediaWorks. But after four years, that company joined Mediacorp. So, Kym Ng went back to Mediacorp.
Kym Ng is known for being very friendly and connecting well with her audience. She often hosts shows about food and other fun variety programs. Since returning to Mediacorp, she has hosted over 150 TV shows!
In 2005, she starred in the movie Gone Shopping. Critics praised her acting in the film. It took two years to make the movie, from 2005 to 2007.
In 2011, Kym Ng hosted a popular show called Love on a Plate. This show won the Best Variety Programme award. Kym Ng also won her third Best Variety Show Host award for it. Later, she won her fourth Best Variety Show Host award for Jobs Around the World. This made her one of the record holders for most wins in that category.
For her acting, Kym Ng was nominated for Best Actress for her role in It Takes Two. She won her first acting award at the Star Awards 2018 for her role in When Duty Calls. She had also won an Asian Television Award in 2005 for her comedy acting in Durian King.
In Star Awards 2019, Kym Ng received the All-Time Favourite Artiste award. This special award is given to stars who have won the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes award ten times. She was the eleventh female star to get this honor.
Today, she co-hosts The Sheng Siong Show with Dasmond Koh and Seow Sin Nee.
Personal life
Kym Ng grew up in a family with four children. In 2009, she quietly married her longtime boyfriend in a simple ceremony overseas. She likes to keep her private life very secret. She rarely shares personal details with the media. Kym Ng has also said that she does not plan to have children.
She has had a health condition called hyperthyroidism since 2000.
In 2023, Kym Ng had an accident while filming a TV series called Till the End. She fell and broke her wrist. She had to take five weeks off to recover. Another actress, Denise Camillia Tan, filled in for her as a co-host on The Sheng Siong Show during that time.
