Kyohei Noda (野田 恭平, Noda Kyōhei, born October 6, 1981) is a former professional football player from Japan. He was a goalkeeper, known for protecting his team's goal.

Kyohei Noda's Football Journey

Kyohei Noda was born in Sagamihara, Japan, on October 6, 1981. He loved football from a young age. After finishing high school, he joined a big club called Verdy Kawasaki in 2000. This team played in Japan's top football league, the J1 League.

Early Career and New Teams

Even though he was part of a major team, Kyohei Noda didn't get to play in any official matches for Verdy Kawasaki. There were two other experienced goalkeepers, Kenji Honnami and Shinkichi Kikuchi, ahead of him.

In 2002, he decided to move to a different team called Okinawa Kariyushi FC. This club played in the Japanese Regional Leagues, which are lower divisions of Japanese football.

The next year, in 2003, Kyohei joined a brand new club, FC Ryukyu. At first, FC Ryukyu was in the Japanese Prefectural Leagues, which are even lower divisions. But the team worked hard and quickly moved up!

Climbing the Leagues

FC Ryukyu was promoted to the Regional Leagues in 2005. Then, in 2006, they made it to the Japan Football League, which is a higher national league. During these years, Kyohei Noda was the main goalkeeper for FC Ryukyu. He played in many games and was a key part of their success.

However, in 2008, another talented goalkeeper named Raïs M'Bolhi joined FC Ryukyu. This meant Kyohei didn't get to play as much as before.

Time at FC Gifu and Retirement

In 2009, Kyohei Noda moved to FC Gifu, a club in the J2 League, which is Japan's second-highest professional league. He played in many matches for FC Gifu in 2009 and 2010.

After 2010, his playing time started to decrease again. Finally, at the end of the 2012 season, Kyohei Noda decided to retire from professional football. He had a long career as a goalkeeper, playing for various clubs across different leagues in Japan.
