L'Avenue is a very tall building, also known as a skyscraper, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It's a "mixed-use" building, meaning it has different types of spaces inside. It has apartments (called condos), and also hotel rooms or offices on its lower floors. This impressive building stands right across from the famous Bell Centre in downtown Montreal.

What is L'Avenue?
L'Avenue is a modern skyscraper that combines different uses in one building. It has 350 condominium apartments, which are homes that people can buy. The lower floors of the building are used for a hotel or office spaces. This makes it a busy and lively place with many different activities happening.
Where is L'Avenue Located?
This skyscraper is in the heart of downtown Montreal. You can find it on Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal. It's located between de la Montagne Street and Drummond Street. Its spot right across from the Bell Centre, a major arena, makes it easy to find.
How Tall is L'Avenue?
L'Avenue is a very tall building! It has 50 floors and reaches a height of 184 meters (about 603 feet). When it was finished, it became the sixth tallest building in Montreal. It also holds the record for being the tallest residential building in Canada, east of the city of Toronto.
Right across the street from L'Avenue is another tall building called the Tour des Canadiens. Even though the Tour des Canadiens also has 50 floors, it is a bit shorter at about 167 meters (548 feet). This makes L'Avenue the tallest building built in Montreal since 1992.
Building History
Work on L'Avenue began in December 2013. This first step involved digging deep into the ground to prepare the foundation. The construction continued for several years. The entire building project was completed in 2017.
