La Lande-sur-Drôme was once a small village, or commune, located in the Calvados area of northwestern France. Its name means "The Heath on the Drôme," referring to the Drôme river nearby. On January 1, 2017, La Lande-sur-Drôme joined with other nearby villages to form a new, larger commune called Val de Drôme. This means it is no longer a separate commune on its own.
