La Lisa is one of the 15 special areas, called municipalities, in the big city of Havana, Cuba. It's located in the western part of Havana. This area is a mix of city and countryside. It has a population of about 147,000 people.

La Lisa is known for its mix of urban and more rural areas. It covers about 37.5 square kilometers. This makes it a place where you can find both busy streets and quiet, green spaces.
Neighborhoods of La Lisa
La Lisa is made up of seven main neighborhoods. These areas are sometimes called Consejos Populares in Spanish. Each neighborhood has its own unique feel and community.

Local Government
Like other municipalities in Cuba, La Lisa has its own local government. The person in charge is called the President. Their job is to help manage the area and make decisions for the people living there. The current President is Yoamel Acosta Morales.
