La Vall de Laguar is a group of three small villages in Spain. You can find them in the province of Alicante. This area is part of the Valencian Community, which is an autonomous community in Spain.
The three villages are Campell, Fleix, and Benimaurell. Campell is the lowest village. It is usually the first one you see if you come from the town of Orba.
This area covers about 22.96 square kilometers (about 8.86 square miles). In 2011, around 961 people lived here. By 2018, the population was about 820 people.
Government and People
La Vall de Laguar is a municipality. This means it has its own local government. The government is led by a Mayor. The current Mayor is Francisco Gilavert. He is part of the PSPV-PSOE political party.
People from La Vall de Laguar have special names. In Spanish, they are called Laguartiano or Laguartiana. In Valencian, they are called guarer or guarera. Another Spanish term is vallero or vallera.
