La Zarza-Perrunal is a small town, or municipality, located in the Province of Huelva in southern Spain. It is part of the Andalusia region. This area is known for its beautiful landscapes and rich history.
Until 1991, this municipality was known by two different names: Silos de Calañas and Minas de Perrunal. It officially became La Zarza-Perrunal when the two towns, La Zarza and Perrunal, joined together in 2018. Before that, they were part of a larger municipality called Calañas.
La Zarza-Perrunal is situated in the Andévalo area, but it's also very close to the Sierra de Aracena mountains. This means it has a mix of flat and hilly land, making it a unique place to live and visit.
About La Zarza-Perrunal

The municipality is found in the western part of Andalusia, in the Province of Huelva. It sits at an elevation of about 240 meters (around 787 feet) above sea level. Its total area is about 44.71 square kilometers (about 17.26 square miles).
