The Lac de l'Orignal is a lake found in Quebec, Canada. Its name means Moose Lake in English. This lake is located near the village of Nantes and the town of Lac-Mégantic. It is part of the Estrie region.
The Glen River flows through Lac de l'Orignal. This river then joins the Chaudière River. The Chaudière River eventually flows into the mighty St. Lawrence River.

Lac de l'Orignal is about 650 meters (0.4 miles) long. It is also about 300 meters (0.2 miles) wide. The deepest part of the lake is around 5.5 meters (18 feet). The total area of the lake is about 45 acres.
You can reach the lake by following "rang 10." This road connects to "Chemin du Lac de L'Orignal." This path runs along a part of the lake. Most of the land around the lake is private property. A marshy area is located to the west of the lake. The Glen River also flows through this marsh.
