Early Life and Education
Lacey Schwartz Delgado was born in 1976 or 1977. She grew up in Woodstock, New York, with her parents, Robert and Peggy Schwartz. Her family is Jewish.
Lacey went to Georgetown University for her college degree. Later, she studied law at Harvard Law School.
Discovering Her Identity
When Lacey applied to college, she did not mark a box for her racial identity. However, based on her photo, she was accepted as a Black student. During her time in college, she learned that she is biracial. She discovered that her biological father was Rodney Parker, an African American man.
Career as a Filmmaker
Lacey Schwartz Delgado has worked in different roles, including as a managing director at Truth Aid. She also served as a director of outreach at Be'chol Lashon.

In 2011, Lacey Schwartz married Antonio Delgado. She took his last name, becoming Lacey Schwartz Delgado. Her husband previously served as a U.S. Representative for New York's 19th congressional district. In 2022, Governor Kathy Hochul appointed him as Lieutenant Governor of New York.
Lacey and Antonio Delgado have identical twin sons. Lacey Schwartz Delgado identifies as both Black and Jewish.
