College Basketball Journey
Lagerald Vick grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. He first planned to play basketball for SMU, but then decided to join the Kansas Jayhawks in 2015. The Jayhawks are a very famous college basketball team.
Starting at Kansas
As a freshman, Lagerald played in 19 games. He averaged about 2 points per game. He also did well in his studies, earning a spot on the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team. The Big 12 is a group of colleges that play sports against each other.
In his second year, he played in more games, becoming a regular player. He averaged 7.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. He was also good at shooting three-pointers.
Key Moments as a Junior
