Laia Manzanares Tomàs (born on March 30, 1994) is a Spanish actress. She is well-known for her role in the 2015 music video for the song "The Less I Know the Better" by the band Tame Impala. This video became very popular and a fan favorite years after it was released. Laia is also known for playing Oksana Casanoves, a student from Ukraine, in the Spanish TV show Merlí.

Early Life and Inspiration
Laia Manzanares Tomàs was born in 1994. Her father is from Valencia, and her mother is Catalan. She went to high school at Institut Públic XXV Olimpiada. She also studied acting for two years at the Col·legi de Teatre in Barcelona.
Laia decided she wanted to be an actress after watching Uma Thurman play Beatrix "The Bride" Kiddo in the movie Kill Bill: Volume 1. She was very impressed by how strong the character was. Laia hoped to inspire other young people in the same way. She wanted to help high school or elementary school students feel more confident during important times in their lives. Before she became a full-time actress, she worked as a waitress. If she hadn't become an actress, she would have studied psychology.
