Lake Bryan is a special kind of community in Brazos County, Texas, in the United States. It's called a "census-designated place" (CDP). This means it's an area that looks like a town but isn't officially a city.
This community is built around a large reservoir (a human-made lake) that shares the same name, Lake Bryan. Bryan Texas Utilities manages this lake. In 2020, about 2,060 people lived here. Lake Bryan is also part of the larger Bryan–College Station metropolitan area.

Where is Lake Bryan Located?
Lake Bryan is found along the northwestern edge of Brazos County. It shares a border with the city of Bryan to its southeast. To the northwest, it borders Robertson County.
A major road, U.S. Route 190, runs along the northeastern side of Lake Bryan. This road goes southeast around Bryan and heads northwest about 13 miles (21 km) to a town called Hearne.

Education in Lake Bryan
The Bryan Independent School District (BISD) provides schooling for the children living in Lake Bryan.
Most of the community's students attend Kemp Elementary School and Jane Long Middle School. However, a few areas are zoned for Navarro Elementary School and Rayburn Intermediate School. Students who are learning English and are zoned for Kemp go to Kemp-Carver Elementary School. Bilingual students zoned for Navarro attend Navarro. All students in Lake Bryan eventually go to Davila Middle School and Rudder High School.
