Lake Carl Albert is a man-made lake, also called a reservoir, located in Latimer County, Oklahoma, United States. It was created by building a dam on Rock Creek. This lake is important for several reasons: it helps control floods, provides drinking water for the nearby town of Talihina, and offers a place for people to have fun and relax. The lake was finished in 1964. It covers about 183 acres (74 ha) of water. The town of Talihina, Oklahoma, owns and manages the lake.
