Lake Delta is a cool lake in Delta Township, Michigan. It covers about 40 acres, which is like 30 football fields! This lake is just a few miles southwest of Lansing, which is the capital city of Michigan. It's also located in Eaton County. If you're driving on Interstate 96 (I-96) or Interstate 69, you'll see the lake right next to the highway.
Fun Things to Do at Lake Delta
Lake Delta is a popular spot for outdoor fun, especially for fishing! You can fish from the shore or use one of the special docks. The lake is located south of the Lansing Board of Water.
Fishing at the Lake
There are three fishing docks at Lake Delta. You can find them on the northwest, east, and southern sides of the lake. This gives everyone plenty of space to cast their lines.
When Can You Visit?
The lake is open for local residents to enjoy from April through November. The exact dates can change a bit depending on the weather. So, if it's a warm fall, you might get to enjoy it longer!
