Lake Eva is a small, natural freshwater lake located in Florida, United States. You can find it on the north side of the city of Lake Alfred, Florida, in Polk County. The lake is shaped a bit like a kidney bean. It covers an area of about 20.5 acres (8 ha), which is roughly the size of 15 football fields!
Exploring Lake Eva
Lake Eva is quite close to the city of Lake Alfred. It sits about 380 feet (120 m) west of Polk County Road 557. This makes it easy to find on a map.
Lake Eva's Surroundings
The land around Lake Eva is quite varied. On its east side, you'll see some homes with large yards. The northern and western parts of the lake are surrounded by green citrus groves. These groves are where oranges and other citrus fruits grow.
If you look at the south side, you'll find a swampy area. Swamps are wetlands with lots of trees and water. The southeast shore has a grassy area.
Access to Lake Eva
Lake Eva is completely surrounded by private land. This means there isn't a public spot where you can go to the lake. There is a small canal on the southwest side. This canal connects Lake Eva to a bigger lake nearby, called Lake Alfred. However, this canal is usually too shallow for boats. Sometimes, it even dries up completely.

It's not known what types of fish live in Lake Eva. Even so, the lake does appear on maps from the "Take Me Fishing" website. This website helps people find places to fish.
