Lake Josephine is very close to another lake called Swiftcurrent Lake. Swiftcurrent Lake is just northeast of Lake Josephine. A short stream, about 0.3 miles (0.5 kilometers) long, connects the two lakes.
How to Visit Lake Josephine
You can reach Lake Josephine by hiking the Grinnell Glacier Trail. This trail follows the western side of the lake for about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers). It's a great way to see the lake up close and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
