Lake Mirror is part of a larger group of lakes known as the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. This means it's connected to other lakes by canals, making it easy for boats to travel between them.

Exploring Lake Mirror
Lake Mirror is a natural freshwater lake. It's shaped a bit like an egg when you look at it from above. The lake is quite large, stretching about 3,135 feet (956 meters) long and 2,335 feet (712 meters) wide.
It sits in a developed part of Winter Haven. Most of its edges are lined with houses and buildings. However, a nice wooded area borders the lake on its northeast side.

Lake Mirror has two close neighbors. Just about 200 feet (61 meters) to its east is Spring Lake. To its west, about 250 feet (76 meters) away, is Lake Cannon. These lakes are all connected.
Accessing the Lake
While you can't walk directly onto the shores of Lake Mirror from public land, boats can easily reach it. Canals connect Lake Mirror to both Lake Cannon and Spring Lake.
Part of the Chain of Lakes
Lake Mirror is an important part of the southern system of the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. This system includes many lakes linked by canals. This means if you have a boat, you can launch it from one of the public boat ramps in the Chain of Lakes system and travel all the way to Lake Mirror.
